Disability Services
There has been special provision for the disabled people who wish to reach the Airport. Special ramps are designed to lead to the arrivals and departures room and also to all places of interest, toilets, parking, ticket offices, etc.

Transportation
By Road
From Athens: Take E75 National Motorway from Athens and pass the city of Lamia. Approaching Almiros, turn right following the signs to the Airport.
From Thessalonica: Take E75 National Motorway from Thessalonica, pass the city of Larissa and head towards Lamia. Approaching Volos, pass the Exit to Velestino and the Exit to Aerino and continue straight on. Find the Exit to Microtheves, and after 5 km, on your left hand, see the road signs to the Airport, a distance less than 2 km from the National Motorway.
From Igoumenitsa-Ioannina: Starting from Igoumenitsa, pass Ioannina and head to Trikala. Pass Trikala and drive to Larissa. Pass Larissa and drive to Lamia. Reaching Volos, pass the Exit to Velestino and the Exit to Aerino and continue straight on. Find the Exit to Microtheves. After 5 km drive, there is a crossroad to Nea Anchialos Airport. Turn right following the road signs.
From Patra: Starting from Patra, take E55 to Rio. Pass to Antirrio. From there, take E65 to Nafpactos, Amfissa and find road sign E75 to Lamia-Larissa. Pass Lamia. Reaching Almiros, you find the crossroad to Nea Anchialos Airport. Turn right following the road signs.
By Train
Take the train from Athens, Larissa or Thessalonica to Volos Railway Station (visit www.ose.gr or call 1110 for itineraries). At 1km distance find the Central Bus Station of Volos. Bus itineraries are planned to arrive at the airport according to scheduled flights.
