The flights of low cost Ryanair airline to Milan and Frankfurt will be connecting from May Volos with other European destinations.The agreement regarding the regular flights, Ryanair, was made through the prefecture of Magnesia after two years of negotiations.

In a recent interview,prefect Ap.Papatolias and vice prefect of Transport and Tourism Evi Adamakis said: "In this effort we were on our own without the support of ministries and central government, but we did it"
The agreement with one of the most cheap airlines in Europe would be an incentive for completing the new terminal to the local airport. According to the latest official information from the Ministry, the project will be completed by the end of April.

With an average price of only 45 euros,Ryanair connects with 150 destinations."It's a huge success of prefecture and it is expected to boost tourism in Magnesia and Thessaly," said the governor,stressing that the association of N.Anchialos with major European destinations becomes extremely important especially in view of the Mediterranean Games of 2013.

The Ryanair airlines launched two weekly flights to and from Bergamo airport in Milan and two to and from the Hahn airport of Frankfurt from May till October.

Flights to Frankfurt Hahn airport start from May 20 every Thursday and Sunday and will run until October 28. Ticket prices start at EUR 24.99 and go up to 59.99 euros. So limited, a ticket for the June 6 and return on June 10 it will cost in total and all additional charges less than 70 euros!
